Tyler Perry's "Madea Goes to Jail" continues to hold its own after opening number one at the box office last month, and currently has raked in more than $84 million.

Fans of the director and producer were excited to see him bring back his onscreen persona Madea. The feisty grandma finally gets sent to the big house after making her own laws since practically birth. Actor Derek Luke stars as Assistant District Attorney Joshua Hardway who is preparing for his wedding. A blast from the past in the package of Keisha Knight Pulliam as a prostitute named Candy, quickly switches things up.

Of course, where there is a Tyler Perry movie that includes gut busting laughter and always room for redemption.
