Duplicity

Former M16 agent Ray Koval cons his way through life working as a spy for a major pharmaceutical company until he plots with a rival spy to double-cross their employers in the fast-paced thriller “Duplicity.”
While in the midst of stealing secrets from the competitor, Koval runs into Claire Stenwick (Julia Roberts) , a former CIA officer, who years earlier seduced, drugged, and stole classified documents from him.
Koval is still infatuated with Stenwick, but it’s uncertain whether romance or revenge is the motive. Against his better judgment, Koval pursues a relationship with his female counterpart.
Seemingly sick of espionage and ready to settle down, the two spies conspire to scam their bosses for enough money to retire.
Koval and Stenwick, who have no reason to trust each other, now have to work together to pull off the heist, while second-guessing their partner’s intentions.
Can the spies trust each other or is this part of a bigger plan?
Director Tony Gilroy leaves the audience guessing until the very end in this fast-paced con game.
